Pripyat

This famed, abandoned city provides the only access to the Chernobyl NPP. The Monolith faction has been rumored to have its headquarters somewhere in the heart of the city. The streets are stalked by mutants, zombies and a precious few expert stalkers from various factions seeking various treasures in this warzone of a city. The military makes frequent excursions to this area, usually sending only the elite of mainstay. Nevertheless, all of these expeditions have been so far doomed to failure. With the deactivation of the Brain Scorcher, more and more stalkers have been attempting to make their way into the city, fueled by various desires and all seeking different things. Of course, this only means that the Zone has only taken more and more lives with every passing day.
