The Dark Valley

A gray, dreary and rainy expanse east of the Garbage, the Dark Valley has a reputation as one of the most dangerous places in the southern reaches of the Zone for a loner. The fact that the bandit headquarters are located here, as well as the central swamps serving as an ideal breeding ground for mutant wildlife make this territory particularly unnerving. However, the small amounts of nonetheless powerful artifacts to be found here continue to draw loners into the Dark Valley day after day. A small stalker camp can be found in the abandoned pigstys near the gate leading to the Cordon, however the loners there have staked out their reputation as little better than the bandits themselves.
