Military Stalkers

Stalkers that have been spared by, or hired by the Russian Army in order to help pursue the government's own secret goals in the Zone. Military stalkers are a rare sight, and while not directly serving in the ranks of the Spetsnaz, typically recieve top-of-the-line weapons and armor developed by the Russian military research teams. These warriors are generally deployed in the centermost regions of the Zone, including the Red Forest, Freedom, and approaches to the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant.
