Is that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. half-life mod coming out soon? Or did it come out already? Dunno, but once I pass DH, I'll have a look. Also, I finally got Mass Effect 1 today, I'm hoping it's as amazingly epic as everyone told me, or I'm gonna bust some heads. Edit. Is this the one you meant Burnzz? www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-city-17

It might be it. Not sure, though...What would it feel like on Source? I hate the fact that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is going to be on CryEngine...X-ray works fine! What's wrong with it? SoC's Xray (despite all the bugs, good or bad ones) was so far one of the best game engines I've ever seen.

The trailer didn't really look that promising, and the main site is under construction, so I don't know yet. As for using a different engine, I'm not to pleased to hear that, the CryEngine (from what I've seen) has a plastic look to some of it's textures. I'm they could just update their old engine.
In the game playing department I've gone back to Saint's Row 2. It always puts a smile on my face that game.

Drag adores Saints Row, 1 and 2. Oh and Protect tha Pimp and Blinged out Ride (even though I barely found out what those actually were, and Drag's description was...gangsta, nontheless).

I've been close to hitting people when they tell me GTA 4 is better. There are pimps in SR2 but I normally give everyone a beating equally.

Wait S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 what the That's right, you play as a controller who starts in the CNPP and works to escape the zone through the Cordon by amassing an army of zombies and having them do all the fighting. It will actually be a RTS in FP prospective, instead of the much more expected FPS. You'll also be able to control other mutants so they can raid areas and you can slip by unnoticed.

I got the original AoE in a box of cereal. I lost interest in RTS after AoE II it was basically, make a bigger army than the other jerks, then kill them. Like Yahtzee's review of Halo Wars.

Same here. Kellog's did it as a promo for the release of AoM. My copy was in a pack of Crispix. Still have the empty cereal box.

Yeah that was the one.
I've noticed something while browsing for HL2 mods, why do people keep 'having an idea' and then not finishing them? Is it just one guy leaping up and down going 'OMG, OMG, OMG' clapping his hands and starting another 'Amazing' idea? Every other game that has a mods available but not HL2... Bastards!

No idea. Then again, since I refuse to do Steam, I'll never play HL2.
