Seth had disappeared. Karc and Torch had been hiding in a concrete pipe throughout the conflict, dragging himself out, "Looks like Seth has nicked off. I'll take a look around." he walked towards the lab, he'd heard a lot about the compound but never seen it before, it wasn't quite as amazing as he had hoped maybe the inside would make up for the drab exterior. Shouldering his P90 and drawing his Colt he made his way towards the lab. Spinning it to amuse himself.
Walking around the gate into the yard, something told him someone was watching him, spinning to his left resulted in nothing, the sound of a gun cocking from behind him told him all he needed. Sighing Dammit wrong way. he thought before saying "There's no point shooting buddy. I ain't here to loot ya pretty lab, me and another chap got some stuff we found in that bloody underground lab ya might be interested in?" he asked holstering his pistol.
Turning around to see the man before him we was shorter by a couple of inches and looked like he'd been in the zone for many years he was definitely older than himself or Torch, but was still pointing gun at Karc's head. "You know the last guy to point a gun at me from that far missed." Karc joked. Adding with a feral smile, "But I'm sure I don't owe you any money however."

Vasily lowered his pistol and holstered it, "Well then," he said, "He must have been a damn poor shot." Taking a step forward, Vasily took a moment to get a good look at the man in front of him, he was just as tall as Vasily, but more sturdily built. "Your're a Mercenary?" Vasily asked, "I just patched up one of your friends, name of Burner, has a thing for getting in trouble with the military."
Walking over to the Bunker's airlock Vasily gestured for the Mercenary to follow him, "Get your friend over here, It's possible another military patrol could show up at any minute, and if that happens, there's no telling how long we could be holed up in the Lab."

Something gave a sickening squelch as Thor's steel-clad boot sank into the marsh. "What the hell is this place?" the Freedomer muttered, glancing around for any signs of mutated life, machine gun at the ready. He could dimly see the outlines of a mobile bunker up ahead, no doubt belonging to the scientists Seth had told them about. Out of all the places to send the Alpha Squad, it had to be here, Thor seethed, Yantar, where no reasonable stalker even bothered to pass.
"C'mon! Stop waddling around and get over here!"he heard a voice call from up ahead. "Time to give these eggheads a visit and learn what's going on." Naturally, Sokol didn't get a drop of water on himself, finding some magical way to lithely stay atop of the swamp.
Cursing the Zone and its makers, Thor dragged himself from the marsh, making his way around to the entrance of the compound, where his companion stood. The two made their way towards the doorway into the lab: a massive reinforced door sealing the inner airlock.
Lighting another cigarette and not sure what to expect, Sokol pressed the bell button on the external intercom.

Karc grinned "Yeah bankers aren't great shots. He certainly wasn't expecting the knife in the back he was rewarded with. Yeah I'm a merc, more freelance than the other guys elsewhere in the zone." he thought about the name, "Burner, he left while I was doing a job for one of the mercs, never actually met him. Sounds like a decent guy, those army guys never cease hassling us, even when we have permission to be here."
Karc nodded and turned to get Torch. Standing next to the pipe Karc poked his head in, "Wake up, we can off load that pretty head you grabbed to the chaps here. They don't even mind that were mercs either."
Looking up a man dressed in similar armor to Seth walked along the fence, he seemed oblivious to Karc. A couple of minutes later a second man came trudging past dressed like the first guy. They must be the guys who came with Seth to Limansk.
He and Torch followed them at a distance, not making much effort to keep quiet so as to alert the two had walked by. Turning into the yard nodded to the men but kept quiet waiting the scientist to open the door. Looking around the yard Karc noticed an old disused table, walking over to it he gave it a light kick, the wooden legs were still solid, looking around the spotted an old tool box, taking a rusty hammer he dismantled the table with several wild swings, checking in the tool box again he found several 6 inch nails. He looked at the club, Why not he thought, hammering 6 nails into the club. chucking the hammer back into the tool box he admired his before walking back to where Torch sitting.

After opening the airlock, Vasily turned around to see two figures in heavily armored suits, Vasily instinctively went for his gun, but stopped when he saw the men were wearing the colors of Freedom, walking towards the men Vasily said, "You two must be the men Seth left at Limansk." While he was talking, Vasily took a moment to get a good look at the men, they were both heavily armed, and exoskeleton of the larger one, as well as the suit of the taller one both seemed to be heavily modified. Turning towards the Mercenaries Vasily beckoned the two over to him, "Unless you prefer the swamp," Vasily said to the Freedomers, "I suggest you should come inside with me."

Karc and Torch stayed outside, placing their packs down, Karc pointed to Torch's bag "Chuck us the loot." he said. Holding it he looked at the head How the fuck was this thing once human? Karc thought to himself. Footsteps were approaching rapidly, Karc placed the head by his side, Seth jogged in.

Sokol walked inside warily. No gunfire erupted, nothing exploded, and his body seemed so far devoid of any holes, so he concluded the military was not here to ambush them. He examined their host, the man was much older than both he and Thor were, and wore the air of an individual of experience.
"Allow us to introduce ourselves, my name is Sokol, and that over there is Thor," said the tall Freedomer, pointing to his exoskeleton clad companion, who gave a short grunt. "We were told something was brewing here and you people needed backup," Sokol continued, eying the interior of the mobile lab "we've come to pick up all the stalkers that consented to go to Pripyat, and cover the escape if necessary. Seth told us of a large Duty group coming in from the East. He called in a sizable mercenary strike team, but I'm not sure it'll be enough to stop a full Duty task force." he paused, thinking "we will need to move out promptly, where is Seth, and who were those two mercenary goons trying to stalk us outside?" he added "Seth only mentioned one."
Slowing down as he reached the crest of the hill, Seth finally came into view of the mobile lab. He needed to get the mercs and scientist out of here quickly, he thought, leaving Burner behind was risky, but he figured the mercenary could stand his ground. And with the Duty squad hot on his heels, he could not afford to lose any more time. The faster they were beyond Limansk and the Dead City, he thought, the better.
He jogged down into the courtyard, finding Torch and Kar sitting near the fencing. He gave the two mercenaries a curt nod "get your gear together," he addressed the two "we'll be moving out North soon."

"A Duty task force?" Vasily asked, "We need to leave before they get here, I don't think they will be to pleased to hear that we are working with their arch-rivals now." Vasily was just about to speak again when he heard faint voices through the slightly open airlock. Walking quickly over to the door, Vasily pushed it open and placed a hand on his pistol. To his relief it was Seth, "Well!" he said, "It's good to see you're still in one piece!"

After Seth went inside Karc jumped up, picking up the head he wrapped it carefully, before stepping into the lab, "We'll be ready in a minute, just gotta off load some treasure." he said making his way to the counter. "Hey buddy! I gotta prime example of those bloodsucker bastards heads here." Karc smiled placing the head on the counter, carefully unwrapping it. "How much?" He asked.

Checking his PDA for a signal from the Rostok mercenaries, Seth wasn't surprised to see that the list of connected stalkers had emptied. "Jurgen? Nail? Come in!" he called, but to no avail. All of the men were most likely dead.
"The mercenary barrier has collapsed." he announced to the stalkers in the bunker "the Duty strike force will be here in mere hours. We've got to get out of here, and quickly!" He turned to the scientist and the two mercenaries. "Sell off your stuff quickly, and grab whatever gear you want, I can compensate for it all. We'll be moving through the factory complex again to the Red Forest. I can't guarantee the road will be clear, but we have some pretty big guns, so I reckon we'll make it through." The Freedomer slung his rifle over his shoulder and holstered his sidearm, waiting for everyone to get ready.

Karc waited as Sakharov, went to consult with the other scientist about the head, putting his old AK on the counter as well as the Sparkler he'd received earlier from Jurgen, he was hesitant about selling it but had heard this was the place to sell artifacts, keeping the Droplet, just in case.
Sakharov meandered back, nodding "We'll take the head off you hands for 3750ru, anything else?" Karc pointed to the gun and the artifact laying on the counter. "Them too, matey." He said
Karc sells Bloodsucker head - 3750ru (half for Torch) Sparkler artifact - 1300ru AK-74/U - 900 ru [CHECK]

Torch went in, searching for Karc..."Maybe we should consider bringing mutant parts to these guys, they pay really good?"
Looking at his LR300 he spoke with Karc again:"Rostok, huh? Duty? As far as i know dutiers are though nuts to crack. Anyway, you're leaving when exactly? I don't know Burner personally but if he's a merc like us then I'm obliged to help him, even if that means getting a few bullets in the way..."
Torch sat down,he was thinking about something,he was getting lost in his thoughts...

The group appeared on the horizon and made their way to the door of the mobile lab. Hopefully, the Duty force didn't arrive yet. Due to his old habit, Burner slammed the door with his head, laughing and yelled at the camera
"Mind letting 3 ex soldiers and...me inside?"
The door opened and as he entered, he saw several guns pointed at him
"Uhh, guys? It's clear?"

Karc jumped back involuntary as a man who looked like he'd been barbecued barged into the lab, followed by the captain and 2 of his men. Pointing his P90 back and forth between. That must be Burner Karc thought to himself lowering his gun when it was apparent they weren't hostile anymore.
Looking to Seth or Vasily for an answer. He stepped back. He looked at the ex Captain and his remaining men. I wonder what happened to the rest of his squad? "Erm excuse me captain." Karc asked hesitantly in quiet voice "What happened to the rest of your squad? Didn't they fly off?"

Turning to Karc, Vasily said "I heard one of their transmissions, it was shot down over Rostok, probably by the same Dutiers who are on their way here." Walking over to Burner he said, "It's good to see you're still alive friend." Then, Turning to the captain he said, "Well captain, what brings you back here? Last time we met you were ready to put a bullet through my head, or have you had a change of heart?" Vasily was still holding his shotgun, ready to lift and fire at a moments notice.
