Do you guys knows this game? It's a polish RPG based on a series of books about a dedicated monster killer, the witcher.
A truly fancy project. Prolly one of the best RPG games out there (well, it's not like I am a fanboy or something...).
In the end of this month its developers will announce when exactly the sequel is to be expected. It is supposed to appear in the end of this year.
Just saying. It's a good game.

Due to the way the distributors outside of Poland screw the customers, by calling the English language version of the standard Polish release as being a fancy collector's edition and using that; false; claim as an excuse to rip off customers in the english speaking market, there's no way I'll be donating cash to the distributors for any of The Witcher games.

You mean ATARI. Well, AFAIK the sequel will be published worldwide by some other company. It's possible it will be Activision. The game was initially released as a standard release. After a few patches later the creators decided to seriously remake certain parts of the game. This update was dubbed 'Enhanced Edition' which was free to download if you owned the original copy. Of course a new shipment of the enhanced game hit the market and that might cause little confusion. Polish market featured 1) an original release, 2) an enhanced edition release, 3) a collector edition of enhanced edition release, and 4) an extra rare "extra collectors edition" of the enhanced edition (there were only 2.5k copies available to be bought online, all of them got sold within first 18h after the release). Collector editions featured some extra dvds with soundtrack and making of documentaries, enhanced booklet and extra guide to the game. The "extra CE" included also a figure of Geralt, the witcher, a t-shirt, some stickers and a mediallion made of steel (which look extacly in the same way like the one Geralt had in the game or in the books). Yeah, it's got kind of fucked up. But outside Poland ATARI is to blame.

The regular edition was horrible, bug-ridden shite but the EE was much better. One might say that it's enjoyable.

I didn't know which mob had handled the distribution outside of Poland. Finding that it was Atari, though... yeah, makes sense that the english language distribution would be fucked over. Atari has the prior form for doing that to other titles they got their claws into. Jenifur Charne
