Hello guys. I guess I'm new here, soooo..... I'm pretty interested in this thing. I've hung around here from time to time for the past week or two. Finally made my account Of course, like all of you, I have a busy life and another RPG or two to keep up with, but I'll sure post here As for my experience with RPGing... I've been RPGing since I was like... 8. Back in some kiddie site forums. Later went to Invisaionfree boards, then on and off from there. And uh... I don't know what else to add to that. Does roleplaying in bed count?

G'day Elizabeth Welcome to the Rookie Camp, here in the Cordon. Good to see you made it here on one piece. The Military camp near the gate can be a pain to get through when the Войска специального назначения (Spetnaz) are visiting. *JeniSkunk hands Elizabeth a freshly brewed bucket of snorkshake.

I've hung around here from time to time for the past week or two. Oh, then you must know how wonderfully well-adjusted all of us are! It's a pretty impressive length of time too, actually, most of the newbie stalkers who come to the ZSG usually last a day or so before running away in fear. So I guess since we more or less have your attention, I should explain some of the insanity that goes on around here. Yours truly here is the glorious Hypnolith, or head of administrative matters. Not much to say here besides to customary 'all glor'- ALL GLORY TO THE MONOLITH. Chaos or Zeno are our wonderful RP mods (or 'admins', apparently, although I can't quite see how the term applies). They take great joy in humiliating pretty much every inept RP'er that joins except for Karcentric. But Karc's anally fecal grammar is another matter entirely. I don't think it'll be happening in this case, however, since you seem to be an experienced roleplayer at any rate. On to Karc. He's (so to speak) the mod that gets to fidget around with the colors and design of the site's alternate skins. It's a decision I regret ever so slightly, but hey, at least he has a nice colored username (or lack of such). Imperialreign, Carnageman, and Kaze are our beloved anarchist Freedomers. They regularly fuck over the 'Svoboda' board near the bottom of the main page, so try not to take anything written there seriously. Although I do suggest you take the time to read the masterpiece that is the ZSG Three Word Story (3WS). It's an idea of mine I take much pride in, although it would be nothing without the members of this site. Dragunov and Stormbringer are the two esteemed old timers and admins around here. We haven't been seeing too much of them lately, but hell, I'm not one to concern myself in the matters of their divine doing. Then there are the regular members. Most of them we've picked up on this site since late January when I created this site, but a few (like Red and Cath) are also well-known old timers that have been on this site for a good two years or so. Last but not least, A-Burnzz, Burnzz, Afterburnzz, Pxoenix, Candlejack, Afterburnzz, or whatever it is he calls himself nowadays is the most active Duty admin. He's slightly... unstable, but hey, insanity isn't all that dangerous unless you rub it the wrong w

Nice to know more about the members of the site :]
Oh, also, I noticed this field in the character application about reason for going into the Zone. I've only played SoC for a little while, and I don't yet know too many specifics... What are some reasons for coming to the place of the damned?

Oh, also, I noticed this field in the character application about reason for going into the Zone. I've only played SoC for a little while, and I don't yet know too many specifics... What are some reasons for coming to the place of the damned? To be honest, in that case, I'd suggest hanging around the site for a while longer, and getting to know the game, its areas, factions, etc... better (one full playthrough or so should be enough) before submitting a full app. It'll simply put a bit more of you into the character you create, as well as give you a better understanding of the game (and thus the RP's principles). Although, if you do want to just jump in and 'go with the flow', I'd say that Wikipedia's page on SoC offers a pretty concise summary of what goes on in the Zone. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S.T.A.L.K.E.R. The 'Setting' and 'Plot' details give a somewhat good overview on the nature of stalkers. Although of course it's a SPOILER ALERT.

I'm Zeno by the way, currently our most active RP moderator. As you've seen by the C-box, I am also widely called a Camel, or Lolcamel due to my slowness at posting. I am also the resident Kraut, minstrel, and Chief of Artistic Talents. Try to ignore Dimi's Candlejack joke, it's an unbearbaly old meme that nobody really kno ws about anymore. Also, THAT PYRO'S A SPAH!

Hey, as Dim said, I'm Karc and I do very little where. I keep meaning to get off my arse and make a descent color scheme. I'll do it one day hopefully.
