Physical Description: As stated quite tall, solid build from a life of combat and hard living, a lot of small scars from various types of work. Wears black hooded jacket, along with black cargos, combined with shin high, steel capped combat boots, which you'll never guess... A black as well. Longish hair often worn in piggy tails one red, one black with an undercut.
Back Story: Hailing from Australia and at the tender age of 15 Karc found an old handgun in a ditch, after pulling it apart and cleaning it he carried it with him at all times, after he was threatened and mugged by a local drug dealer Karc hid and followed him to his home where he killed him and two others, stealing everything of value including an illegal AK 47, Karc sold it all and moved to Europe where his career as a mercenary began, starting as a bounty hunter and a gun for hire, he moved onto bigger things working as private security and for mob bosses and other underworld figures, on one of these jobs he met with four other mercenaries by the names of Schwarz, El Phantasmo, Dark Pool and Four Fingers. While the job was uneventful they would meet again later unexpectedly in the zone.
Working all over the world Karc learned that sometimes it's best to shoot first, shoot again, and then shoot some more rather than ask questions. By 19 he eventually became very well known amongst many Asian countries for his savage approach to assassinations, skilled hostage taking and tracking skills. It was often commented about his very talkative nature and feral smile regardless of the situation. At 23 he moved to the US working as a PMC despite his lack of military training, he was sent to Afghanistan with a list of high profile terrorists, in one year he had eliminated the list. Due to his success he was moved to work in Europe where he continued learning new skills and getting tattoos from wherever he visited.
When Karc was 28, working in Russia and the surrounding countries as an assassin, sitting in a run down little bar on the border of Russia, Karc and an old man got talking about the surrounding countryside eventually leading to Chernobyl and the stories that came from it. Karc was beginning to lose interest when the old fella mentioned a 'Wish-granter'. Karc asked the old man to explain what he meant. After the old man told Karc that in the heart of reactor 4 lay a wondrous artifact that could grant any wish. To Karc this would be his salvation, he payed the man a small fortune and set off that evening.
However since being informed by the ex-champion of the Monolith that the wish-granter is a trap to lure stalkers to their doom, Karc now wants to unveil all the secrets he can that a lurking within zone.
Karc travelled to Yantar with another mercenary by the name of Torch to collect artifacts but were spotted by a team of Spetsnaz soldiers, fleeing into a small tunnel the soldiers followed, Karc and Torch hid in the catwalks above, able to injure several and force them to retreat using Torch's napalm. Karc however was injured in the battle his left arm was grazed by a RPK, the Spetsnaz blew the tunnel up trapping the two mercenaries within the X16 complex. Luckily for them, Seth the leader of Freedom rescued them, in turn Karc and Torch both agreed to follow Seth on his venture north. During that time Torch was killed by a poltergeist, Karc took his falchion blade burying him in Red Forest. The group continued north narrowly escaped getting slaughtered by the Monolith's troops in the streets of Limansk and blown up by a trap set by the mercenaries. They helped fight back against and push the Monolith out of Limansk. Shortly after that it was reported that Seth was dead and the group disbanded.
After performing a search and destroy mission for the Mercenary Commander, Karc and another merc, Burner were handsomely rewarded, with a large sum of cash, a toolkit, explosive rounds and a heavily modified Bulat armored suit.
While in Yantar Karc was tasked with capturing a live bloodsucker, Karc enlisted the help of Balalaika, unaware of the possible danger of his company presented, working together they managed to located and subdue a bloodsucker and render it unconscious, and carry it across Yantar to the lab.
Shortly after, in Yantar Karc meet Schwarz and his team, who along with Balalaika who later double crosses them they entered X16 to find the stalker Ghost's suit and artifacts to gain profit. The group is attacked by two burers, in the resulting battle Dark is killed by one of the burers. Both burers were killed by Balalaika while the others distracted them with gun fire. Balalaika found the suit first, at that moment a controller shows up and Balalaika threw two grenades, blocking Karc and the others from following her. Unknown to the others Karc has several splinters from the grenade lodged in his cheek and chin. Schwarz and his group go ahead to Limansk while Karc stays behind to remove the shards. He also modifies his mask, adding a skull shaped ballistics mask on the the front of his sphere 12 helmet, a gift from Schwarz.
Having completed a contract from barkeep in which he was to assassinate a group of bandits in the Agroprom area, one bandit managed to escape, Karc slaughtered another group which was occupying the train depot in the Garbage, again one bandit managed to escape, that bandits name was Dober.
While carrying out a recent mission he found an unusual artifact, a stone that seems to defy the laws of gravity. There are no known effects radiating from the stone as of yet.
Karc is currently escorting the younger brother of the notorious bandit Lutiy north to the Merc HQ and assisting him in executing Midas' and destroying his base of operations.
Upon completing his last mission Karc was elevated to a level 5 operator, he successfully assassinated the turncoat mercenary Jurgan, who had originally given Karc one of his first missions, accompanied by the now Bandit leader Shade.
Karc was informed he has an immunity to psi attacks, only one other stalker had such a gift, the now dead bandit Lutiy.
Karc works as an agent for the Mercenary faction carrying out missions for high ranking members of the Mercenary faction, between jobs he is almost always at the 100 Rads bar.
