As we all know, the Monolith has an active force of ~200+ STALKERS. Half of this army has succeed in reducing about a third of the Dead City to rubble and killing a good portion of the Mercenary faction. The other half has just left the NPP to retake Pripyat and has joined with the retreating force from Limansk. Those 200 or so Monolithians joined with however many are sitting around in the Red Forest (~80?) create a menacing force, pushing outwards towards the edges of the Zone. If the High Preacher Jericho hadn't been killed in Limansk, it's quite possible that they would've overrun the Dead City. Then where would they attack next? The Army Warehouses? Rostok? The point of this plotline is to amass an army of free STALKERS and push back the Monolith tide. For this plot to work, at least one important character from each faction is needed. I'm supplying Vasily for the Ecologists and a new character for part of the Military. This plot is open for anyone who wants to join in. Just tell say which character(s) you want to get involved. If you really want to know the exact details without waiting for the entire thing to play out, send me a PM and I'll tell you.

Freedom's way ahead of you.
Mag, Adder, and Sokol are about to set off for the Brain Scorcher to try to destroy it.
Mind you, quite a few more will be converted along the way.

Destroying the Scorcher won't do anything more than make dem Monolithians even angrier, and depending on how many of your guys get brainpwnt, there will just be more to kill later.

The Scorcher is down as of now, so if Svoboda destroys it before the Monolith turns it back on, it won't brainwash any more stalkers.
The only guys that will be converted are the ones Leon exposes to his Monolith Crystal thingamajig.
Also, is it win that the site's spell-checker doesn't mark 'thingamajig' as an error?
