Am I the only person here who'se been addicted to this lately? Compared to STALKER, I like the pick-up and go aspect, and it runs reliably on my laptop so I can play it on a bus or train. That... and chainsaw -v- zombies.

I liked the first one, but after a while it kinda loses it appeal and becomes pretty boring and repetitive. Unless your talking about the second L4D, which I haven't played yet.

I played the second one. It lost its appeal faster then the first one. I still turn the first one on occasionally and go harass people.

It's a game for short bursts, but not one to do for a long time. Throwing a Jar of boomer bile then Grenade-launchering the resulting clustered horde never gets old.

Only played the demo thingy before L4D was released. Never bothered to play the actual game even though the demo was fun to play... L4D and L4D2 are in shops for just over €15 each here.

Bought L4D2 from Steam sale. Haven't tried it out yet, though.
