Physical Description: Meph is short and rather skinny, nearly to the point of being diminutive. His face and other features bear the distinguishing characteristics of eastern Asians, as he himself hails from the DPRK. He is unusually agile and flexible, allowing him to survive in or evade heated confrontations even without significant body armor. He wears a modified gray suit based off the lightened Kombez Wind of Freedom bought on the black market by his Russian Mafia employers. He wears two Spring and three Flash artifacts on his belt, allowing him to sprint and jump far faster and farther, as well as survive considerable falls and trying feats of physical agility.
Back Story: Shim was born in the Democratic People's Republic of North Korea, where, unfortunately, he later developed an interest in the outside world, its nations, and their supposedly more 'free' way of life. Evgeniy picked himself a new, universal Western name, surreptiously taught himself several languages in as many years, and managed to sneak his way out of the country through its northern border with Russia. With the few remaining finances he had left, Evgeniy arranged his trip to Moscow through the massive nation, and arrived in the city two weeks later.
Unable to make a solid living in Russia's capital, Shim became entangled with the Russian Mafia. Although the lucrative offers made by the shadowy organization were not in the least legitimate, they allowed Evgeniy to live in relative opulence. All was well, and the Asian man slowly made his way through the ranks of the Mafioso hitmen, until his last job in Moscow.
The carefully planned murder of a high-ranking official was discovered by a single woman, Nadya Orumov, resulting in a double chase between her, the Mafia's hired thugs, as well as the Russian FSB that had been informed by the local police department. Although the woman had managed to escape capture by either group, all of the Mafia's men but Evgeniy were apprehended only days after her disappearance. As a result, a large bounty was placed on Nadya's head.
Evgeniy, personally interested in avenging his imprisoned comrades, eventually tracked her movements to the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone. Volunteering to take out the female on his own, Evgeniy was supplied with adequate weaponry and financial means by his superiors, and stealthily deployed into the outskirts of the Zone. He quickly found his way into the Bandit compound in the Dark Valley, where he is currently gathering info on the whereabouts of his latest target. Among stalkers he currently goes by the moniker "Mephisto", or simply 'Meph', rather than his real name.
Mephisto was killed in the Red Forest by the Dutier Sigbrand Myrvang after an attempted raid on Freedom Commandant Adder's expedition to an abandoned facility in the area.
