Multiple So me and Basil talked about what it would be like to have the zone in other place in the world and what it would be like if the whole world suddenly was 'taken over' by the zone. I was thinking this might make an epic AU RP and I was wondering if anyone else interested in such a thing.
If you guy want Japan can get blown up *rolls eyes*

Nobody cares about Japan.
Worldwide grimdark Zone would be cool.

Is it a coincidence or what... But I was thinking the same thing as well last week for an ATF rp... I'm up for it if anyone else is...

sounds like a pretty good idea, there is actually a stalker book series about that called death-zone: The NPP has set off another catastrophic emission in 2051, causing the zone to expand it's borders over the whole world and turning men into machines and such like. new stalkers now fight ex-stalkers who were caught in the apex of the blast and turned into machine-zombie thingies, you can get to other 'zones' through portals.
That about sums it up i think

Sounds interesting but is this going to die in the ass like everything else?

I think I am the voice of the majority here when I'm going to say: "Yes it probably will..."

Either way, it shall be most interesting depending where you choose.

Maybe we could set it, so that the mutants have evolved more, and humans are no longer the dominant species?

That's just Metro...
I meant somewhere with a different ecosystem, not saying it should be Australia, but somewhere with a vastly different climate would work too.
But to get the ball rolling if Australia is suggested we have, the following creatures perfect for mutation. Dingos, kangaroos, emus, and maybe koalas... as well as several smaller things that could certainly be small, scavenging beasts. Plus if anyone goes near the water we've got an assortment of sharks and other large, nasty things there.
However surviving against mutant would have to be more tactical, as Australia has a very strict gun laws, meaning guns that would be ideally suited to the current zone a much harder to come by and would need to be shipped in via the black market.
Any other suggestions?

Australia is already a wasteland, Karc I think the Zone should just extend all over the world...as to where we'd be, Iunno. A large city like Berlin or Paris? The rainforest?

That's what I was getting at, I'm not interested in RPing in the zone if we can use any location we want.
And on Australia, it's more of a challenge to get the guns, so you'd have to find other methods of dealing with mutants. Just saying.

You seem to be very persistent about Australia Karc. I think it would be quite good set in the north pole, where it would be more about survival. I also like the idea of mutant seals and penguins...

North pole? Mutant penguins and seals?
I think you're thinking of Antarctica... They don't have penguins in the Arctic, they have polar bears though...

I personally agree with Basil, dark and grim zone world. Humans are no longer on the top of the food chain, and all governments are ruin. Bandits roam the world and take what they want, and small settlements struggle just to make it.

Is there some series known as grim and dark zone? The other things you said BPM sound rather... Fallout like.
But sure I'm game as long there's plenty of scope for being human or otherwise...
