A few suggestions that are pretty much common-sense. I'll put more if I remember or get any other ideas.
1.Profile checking
Concerning: RP mods/Global mods/The Administration
I suggest that once per week the RP mods check and clean up the participants' profiles. You know, read their posts in that week, check off things that have been left unchecked and update the second post on their profile (the one showing their status, equipment etc.)
2.BBcodes and their use in the RP.
Concerning: RP participants
This one is pretty straight-forward, I believe.
3. Updating the "Important Event" log
Concerning: The Administration/RP mods/ Global mods
Again, pretty simple. This should mainly be done by the RP mods-add in the "important events" in the RP along with the exact date of the event.
4. The CBOX punch-clock
Concerning: The RP participants
Now here, we might have a problem. The Cbox's purpose is to leave comments, not to punch in with "posted" and whatnot. I'm not threatening anyone here and it's no biggie now, in the forum's early stages, but please, try not to spam the cbox with unnecessary info.
5. The character issue(s)
Concerning: The RP participants
Try to stay in character- for example, if a man who is following you reveals himself to be a brutal murderer and you are a holy saint bent on eradicating peeps liek dat, then try to think as your character. Don't immediately go "Oh noes, u is followed me, I good boy, i is not kill u"- if you're a Monolith member and a spy is revealed amongst your friends, I'm not sure you would go and follow him around trying to impress him so he could continue his shit. HOWEVER , this one is pretty much left to you- if you think that you can trust him or want to get betrayed, go do it- No skin off my nose.
Also, if you are a rookie loner, you can't really go and eradicate the entire Monolith faction OR find a preserved exoskeleton in Garbage on a crate full of RPGs . Or take a bloodsucker head-on without getting a single scratch and leave liek Steven Seagal after a room full of Chinese bad guys.
6. Role-playing as it is
Concerning: The members who wish to participate in the RP
A)If you're having trouble trying to start RPing, by all means, read the rest of the Role-play posts and try to see what the style looks like. Proper grammar is expected (except in Karcentric's case, he's just awesome like that) and don't get the moderators started on spelling and punctuation. If it really is necessary, take time to re-read and spell-check your post. If you still need help, contact one of the RP moderators or, if none have been active in the previous 24 hours, an omnipresent member of the moderation team OR that other guy called the administrator.
B) Even though it might look like it's God-modding, the administration is just trying to make the Role-play a bit more unpredictable. This does not mean going as far as bending the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. storyline or lore. That means you are NOT Strelok's twin brother OR Sonic the Hedgehog. You can not force others to follow you, or say that the Brain Scorcher is in fact a bakery. If you want to post stuff like that , there's the Zone Bar for you, where hash cookies were duly baked to celebrate...
C)Please aim for three medium length paragraphs wen you role play. It will allow you and those participating to understand and develop the rp better. All posts should be written in third person.
Remember: Read the "tips and suggestions" threads, participate openly in the Discussions board (a secret plot is OK, but an entire board full of them just won't work).
7.The Role-play discussions.
Concerning: The RP participants
If the administration wishes to hold a discussion regarding the RP, you are expected to show up. By default, what little members we've got use Skype as a means of communication. If anything changes in the future, it will probably be a change to the ZSG IRC channel, the address of which can be found in the meetings/discussions thread in "Call of the Monolith" board.
8.Respect the moderation team and their decisions
Concerning: The members who wish to participate in the RP, the RP participants
It is common knowledge that the ZSG moderation team has a pretty nasty way of correcting you, which might seem discouraging. Please, try not to flame, but rather than that, listen to their suggestions, no matter how snobbishly pompous they might sound. If you lose your temper, please, take it somewhere else. We can do without you.
REMEMBER:These are suggestions, not rules. I am not the ZSG's absolutist totalitarian leader, I'm just an idiot trying to look official.

[red]C[/red][teal]o[/teal][orange]l[/orange][blue]o[/blue][limegreen]r[/limegreen] codes and Beautiful fonts- used by The Admin/RP mods/Moderators.
[ i ] / ITALIC-used for personal thoughts
[ blockquote ] / BLOCKQUOTE TAG-used for reading text messages (in the RP), signs, warnings etc.
[ b ] / Bold- used for emphasizing, but please, show some control over it-Do not emphasize every other thing. This goes for the rest of the codes as well.
