As my first official post, I'd like to bring to light a discovery I made kinda recently while playing Stalker.
The Mama's Beads Artefact, one of the rarest and most sought-after artefacts in game. "How many of them are there?" I've heard many a rookie ask and the veterans have always told them, "There are four of them."
Not to discredit or insult the Veteran Stalkers, but you have been wrong for a very long time. I recently discovered a fifth Mama's Beads artefact in the Army Warehouses and I'm going to share its location with you.
I'll also be sharing the locations of the other four as some Stalkers have no idea where to even begin their quest.
The first one can be found here, in the Dark Valley. Be prepared for extremely intense radiation as you attempt to collect it though. This spot also houses one of the handradios and a guitar.
The second one is the reward for doing a quest for the bandit, Snitch. He wants you to go to the Army Warehouses and kill a Stalker named Master.
This is the famed "Stash of the Lucky One," a sad story about a Stalker that got lucky but ended up dead in the end. (Picture borrowed from Dawnrazor's Original ZSG)
Next up is the most recent one, I found it by accident in The Bloodsucker Village while bumbling around in the darkness with my nightvision on. It's on the roof of this building, but not in an obvious location.
Here's the exact location. This spot can be reached WITHOUT any jumping, you simply have to pick your way across the roof.
And finally, our good buddy Fang, may he rest in peace, was buried with one. Unfortunately, it's effect wasn't enough to protect him from a sniper's bullet in Pripyat.
Here, just for show, I have four of five equipped. (Yes, that IS a ZRP Ultima Shield in the middle of them.)
***DISCLAIMER***
The new artefact was found on the 1.0005 patch using the ZRP Bug Fix. I have checked and this IS a valid discovery in 1.0005 vanilla. "Stash of the Lucky One" picture credited to Dawnrazor.
