In an attempt to introduce some danger and novelty to the Zone, I think it's time we made same new mutants. Every time we encounter mutants now we just dispatch them as if they were nothing more than a slight nuisance.
So far we've had two new creatures, one of which is one of a kind:
Dimitrov's Armoured Bear (inb4 BPM saying 'no its manwolfbearstorkplatypuspigwarthogcrocodile').
Those ugly pale rat monstrosities encountered by Balalaika and Skomorokh.

I might introduce the kinetoplasms from ZW as well.

Well, here's some info regarding the new muties.
Name: Ghasts.
Location: Northern parts of the Zone, but sometimes move towards the perimeter.
Appearance and Behaviour: Quadrupeds capable of walking on their hind legs and manipulating objects with their front paws (who bear an uncanny ressemblance to human hands), they are usually white or grey and have teeth capable of biting through most protective gear. They share some similarities with rats, which has lead some scientists to believe that they are a more advanced form of mutated rodent. They are very aggressive and territorial and hunt in packs of up to ten individuals. Their intelligence also makes them fearsome opponents as they have been known to devise complex traps, open doors and even bypass the defences of human settlements in the Zone.
Frequency of encounters: Ghasts are quite rare, and despite the fact they've been sighted as far South as the Cordon, they are far from being a truly serious threat to the stalker communities of the Zone.

Bear is just a mutated bear. A big one though. The weird lizard things too, but I need a name for them.
