I just noticed that we haven't added this frankly brilliant mod, I know some people will argue that ObLost is better but... I don't care. Since the Dezowave site hasn't got their downloads working yet, This link will take you to Moddb or this link for Filefront.Highly recommend that you also download the patch to match whichever patch you're running for SoC. Here's a list of features/changes that are included in this mod: - Drivable vehicles
- Blowouts
- New weapons
- Your own house to safely stash items

PS is one of the best mods out there. I highly suggest you get LoboTheMan's unofficial fixes for Priboi Story as they tweak a lot of bugs with the original game.

How the fuck was PS brilliant in any way? Shitty weapon models and sounds, general model integration into the landscape, mutants that appear completely out of place, the flower power fauna, I could go on forever. They're all interesting additions but it's just not cohesive in any way.
I mean, I had some fun with PS and it was an original concept, but if this is some kind of masterpiece of modmaking while LURK is shit I don't even

Mapmaking is extremely difficult and limited with the tools GSC released, they had to make do with what they had. mutants that appear completely out of place Err, by spawn? Not really, if you ask me. The blowouts did spawn a lot of crazy stuff, but every other mod is guilty of that. I'll give you this one - it's supposed to take place during summer, but even the team admitted that the vegetation looks like ass - the flowers being too big and all over the place and whatnot. The mod does what it says on the tin - completely overhauls Shadow of Chernobyl with a new storyline and pretty much breathes some life into the whole deal. Keep in mind that it was released earlier than most other major mods back in 2008 and offered overhaul like no other. The only other TCs it could be compared with were AMK and ABC (and for the braindead folks, ObLost). While ABC was a totally different sort of mod (the kind that messing around above everything else - throwing knives and black bolts, for Christ's sake), AMK intended to return to the roots - something Priboi had latched on as well, if only a little. The development, bugfixes and patches were nowhere near as consistent as the team had hoped and they lost (and gained) several members in the process, scrapping the whole project near the end of the second patch in order to get everyone to work on Lost Alpha. The unofficial fixes and tweaks by LoboTheMan fix and tweak a fairly large amount of twigs - that man is a saviour, isn't he? First the ZSG, now this... While LURK is a solid release, I personally believe that its development has taken it far too much in favour of quantity rather than quality and that it really needs more solid tweaking. I'm looking forward to the 1.2 release - as long as they still stick to the "Lurk 1.2 - not as shit as Lurk 1.1." tagline. Also, red jelly and bloomIn my mind, only one mod (or is it even a mod?) is worthy of being called a masterpiece - the Zone Reclamation Project.
