Hopefully I'm doing this right...
Anyhow, hello strangers! I accidentally ended up stumbling across this site, though I'm quite happy I did. It's nice to finally find a thriving community, and I do hope that I don't make myself too much of a hassle during my stay.
Erm, anyhow, I think that's about it! Once more, it's good to be here!

Welcome! We're not quite thriving yet but every little bit helps .

Welcome to our little corner in the interwebs and congrats on being, well, the first member outside the original site to join!
Although like Zeno said, we're not exactly thriving. But nevertheless we're pretty close knit, and, with any luck and a few more members I'm sure we'll kick off nicely.
So once again, welcome, and if you have any questions feel free to ask around.

Thanks guys! And, eh, it's thriving at least by my standards...I'm used to the smaller forums anyhow, so this is perfect.

Oh I know where you're coming from with that. I used to be pretty much a right hand co-admin at a pretty tight community before, until it just swelled to humongous proportions. That was pretty much when it all fell apart for me.
So yep. While would like a few more members in terms of more or less constant activity over here, I wouldn't mind if this place stayed relatively small.

Hello everybody. I've been lurking around since I followed the tracks here from the other ZSG forum at Inv!s!onfr33. Just decided to register today. Sorry for not having contributed much. I've only started playing SoC recently and am hooked but still learning.
Anyhow, I hate to be brash, but does anyone know anything about the current state and/or future of the ZS Guide? From bits and pieces I've picked up on various boards, it seems like the guide is supposed to be brought back online at its original site or handed down to a new caretaker for hosting. Either way, is there any news for if/when the guide will be back?
Thanks and Good Hunting to all you Stalkers

Some of the guide pages are still accessible by cache, but with any luck, we'll be able to bring the site back up shortly.
In any case, the community isn't going to die out anytime soon, and thus neither will the guide. We're just wavering between restoring our old base of operations and making a new one. The course of action we take depends on further news from Dawn concerning the original domains.

Thanks for the update. I've been pulling pages via google's cache but many pages are not available. Of those which are accessible, navigation is difficult (links and anchors aren't functional) and images (that were very helpful) are not displayed.
Really am hoping to see the guide back up in all its previous glory. I think I'll have to save a copy of it asap.

You might consider the Internet Archive: www.archive.org/ Has content from 2008 on the heroesradio site. You can also Google for "internet archive" and you may find something more recent.

Yeah, I tried the "wayback machine" several times since ZSG went down, but it takes forever to produce results. Lately, it doesn't even return at all but reports internal errors instead. On the other hand, CoP is now out in most countries. Hope everyone who's picked it up is enjoying it. And maybe it'll spur the ZSG to come back to life.

I'm between jobs, I had to rush out of Target to keep from buying it. Target! I was just there for shirts! T_T

And maybe it'll spur the ZSG to come back to life. *sigh* CoP isn't officially available in Australia for another 2 weeks. I really hope that webhost Dawn used did proper data backups so Dawn can recover the important data from the old ZSG. I'll admit that with the amount of time this is taking, I am beginning to fear that said hosting company didn't maintain such data backups. Jenifur Charne
