Chaos, who had been quiet for some time, finally spoke up. "Victor, it would seem that now is when we part ways. I was planning on going to Rostok," he said, clapping his friend on the shoulder. "I'm sure we'll meet again," he added, turning north toward the barricade Rurik had mentioned. Even if what the Dutier said didn't hold up, he had more than enough money to bribe them.
He turned to the group and smiled. "Anyone else going to Rostok? I'd welcome some friendly company," the loner said cheerfully. He turned to Rurik, looking up at him. "Say, you wouldn't happen to have any stashes you're willing to share out to newbies would you? It doesn't have to be anything special," he smiled. Chaos had always been one to swallow his pride and ask for a hand. If nothing else, he could probably "coax" the truth out of a bandit.
Having been a hacker back in Warsaw, Chaos had yet to put his skills to use in The Zone, although it did occur to him that a member of the Duty faction may not be the best person to test his skills on. With a mental shrug, he waited patiently, taking out his binoculars and looking down the road toward the Duty outpost. It looked clear for the most part, a few mutants, but he figured some hard running would solve that issue.

"I guess we'll tag along", said Maginot to Rurik. Adder did not seem too pleased at the prospect, but remained silent.
The two stalkers proceeded to go through the bandit's corpses, but didn't find much apart from a few Makarov pistols (x3) a sawn of shotgun and two AK-74Us [CHECK]. Nevertheless, they stuffed these findings into their packs to sell them later and followed the group of experienced stalkers, who were heading to the old train hangar.
The building, like many other they had seen, was dilapidated by years of abandon, but it was still in reasonably good shape. The group went over to some concrete piping that lay abandoned near the train hangar. Maginot and Adder watched as the stalkers took weapons and ammo out of a stash in one of the pipes.
"-I still don't think it's good idea to go with them."
"-Lighten up, Adder, they didn't kill us or mug us, and they seem to be pretty good people."
Adder hissed and Maginot chuckled.
"Your name fits you well you know."

Harmund and Sigbrand walked a little ways off from the rest of the group, "What do you think we should do?" asked Sigbrand. "We can either go from the train depot straight to Rostok, or we can go with Rurik, Victor, and that ex-dutier to Yantar.". While Harmund was thinking over which plan was best, Sigbrand said "I think we should go with Rurik and Victor to Yantar.". "Why?" asked Harmund, he already knew that was probably the best option but he wanted to see if his brother knew why. "Because we didn't get much loot here," Sigbrand replied, "And if we get some decent gear from that stash we can make it in Yantar easily enough, and then head back to Rostok with more potential money.".
Tousling his brother's hair Harmund said, "It's nice to see you can think for yourself." he said. "Now, lets go tell Rurik our intentions."
Walking over to the Dutier, Harmund said "We're going with you to Yantar."
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Following Kirill over to his stash inside the Train Depot, Harmund took: x1 STALKER suit. x1 AN-94, and put his Jacket and TOZ in. Sigbrand took nothing. [CHECK]

"Sorry I don't make stashes as a rule, but when you reach Rostok check the pipe under a cross bearing a gasmask." Rurik replied "You'll find a few things that will help you hopefully."
Turning back to the new stalkers who had arrived moments before, he saw they were arguing. Chuckling he turned back. "Are you two ready?"
Harmund's statement caught Rurik off guard, no one willingly went to Yantar. "Really? I assume your all aware of the psi emissions that radiate from there? Are you also aware that those same emissions can scramble your brain turning you into a drooling brain dead zombie?" Rurik asked, He'd have to take more men then he had planned. "If that doesn't bother you then your welcome to come along."

"Well if that happenes you'll just have to shoot me." Harmund replied. "So it's you, me and Sigbrand, Victor and Kirill that are going" Harmund asked. Even though he still didn't trust Kirill, having the Dutier and his friend along gave him a bit of reassurance. ----------------------------------- Turning to the Dutier, Sigbrand asked "So, when do we leave?".

A quick nod to the Dutier signaled Chaos's approval of the help and he parted from the group, heading off toward the outpost. A little ways down the road, he encountered a dead loner who looked pretty picked over. He shrugged though, on his way to The Zone he'd found even the most picked over of vehicles had at least something left in them worth scavenging.
He approached cautiously, keeping aware of his surroundings as he knelt and patted the corpse down. As expected, he found a PDA, but it looked pretty abused. He connected his transfer cable to it and used his skills to search every last file that remained on the small computer. Well I'll be damned... there's actually a stash on here! he thought, coming to a passworded file.
Quickly, he decrypted it and found that it was located in the Dark Valley near a small factory complex. He couldn't quite tell what it contained, but he made out that there was a fair bit of radiation in the area around the stash, so it had to be something worth getting. He stood and continued toward the Duty barricade, finally meeting up with them.
"Halt! We don't let just anyone through!" the guard said. "Lt. Rurik says it's okay for me to go through," he quickly clarified. The guard considered for a moment then sighed. "Look out for the whirlgigs on the other side of the barrier," he grumbled. "Damn that Rurik... always letting the newbies through..." The loner chuckled and carefully navigated the small anomaly field, finding a Meat Chunk and two Stone Bloods in the process. [CHECK] After that, he headed into Rostok, watching as several rather tatted loners hid behind an abandoned truck.

"There will also be 5 duty soliders." Rurik added slapping Harmund on the back in a joking manner he replied laughing "You've got my word."
"When we get to Rostok, I'll leave you at the bar, you'll like it there. I have business with the general, I don't know how long that will take, we have many things to discuss. Stay near the bar, I'll ask the barkeep if he has anywhere quiet you can rest. After that I'll come let you know when it's time to go."

Harmund and Sigbrand glanced at each other, they had been discussing weather or not to join Duty ever since they met Rurik and found out something about his faction. As the Dutier was turning away, Sigbrand jogged up next to him with, Harmund right behind and said, "Actually, we were wondering what it would take to join Duty." They had been continually going over the possible risks and benefits of joining the faction, and eventually they had agreed to talk to Rurik about joining.

Rurik stopped, and turned. "If you want to join Duty, I'll introduce you to general right away. You are aware we are a para-military faction? Whose grand scheme is to rid the world of the zone. If that suits you then I welcome you to Duty. You will not need to do anything just make sure answers a breif and answer the question directly." Looking at his PDA Rurik increased his pace. "We should hurry, we're running late."

OOC: Quoting for continuity, had a nice weekend mostly offline. Rusty was sprinting as fast he could several shots were fired and another 2 bandits had fallen, only he and his short companion, who despite his height was moving very quickly he seemed less phased by the running. Eventually stopping well out of sight from the barricade Rusty stopped to catch his breath. "What the hell happened!" He exclaimed. Gulping for breath after keeping up such a headlong pace, Burilgi was still pacing about trying to recover his senses, turning when the pile of junk they'd cornered around got too steep to easily pace on. "Nothing. Nothing happen," he declared, waving a hand in a flat motion. "Maybe, maybe we meet other man. But if he claim we are part of that bad break? Is full of the shit." Panting, the little Tatar squatted down onto a discarded car chair. Narrow almond eyes lifted up to peer at Rusty. "Nothing happen. We just get here. Dah?"

Victor quickly examined the stash mentioned by Lutiy. Seeing the both Harmund and Sigbrand had already taken their loot, he took the entire remainder with exception of the jacket Harmund had put in. Heavily loaded down, he jogged to catch up with the remainder of the group, which was now near the Rostok gate.

"I'm not going back." gasped Rusty, "even if that guy who was shooting our boys isn't there, did you see that other guy?" Rusty asked "He was as big as a house!"
Rusty slumped down, noticing only now that a small piece of shrapnel was sticking out of his arm, but it wasn't bleeding, How odd, I'm sure that should be bleeding or something. he thought, putting it in his pocket he decided to keep it as a souvenir, meeting the squat mans eyes. "We have to do something, maybe we can go to Agroprom or something?"

"No. No care what you see. I see nothing." Burilgi was adamant as he gestured high with his arm. "Was biiig hill in way. Of." A glance left, a glance right. "Where he say we were. But we no were." To the suggestion of the agro labs, the steppe-man nodded. "Yes. Must do something, or no matter story, someone break our back and leave to dogs as example, you say it..." There was a rolling of his hands before he tried to explain, "No failure welcomes in tent."

Rusty looked at Burilgi he hadn't understood a word of what had been said. Tent? What the hell, we got shot at by our own man, there was a man who was at least 7 foot holding a machine gun too. Was this man saying it was all a hallucination? Rusty looked around in frustration. "I'm not sure you understand what happened. That guy at the barricade double crossed us." Rusty said hoping it would sink in. Peering around from behind the wall he watched a group head towards the northern barricades controlled by Duty.
Pulling his head back around, "That guy is walking with the group we were going to ambush."
