Oh yeah, I've heard some stories about Picher, Oklahoma. Though, if you go there, remember to bring armaments.

You guys (and possibly a girl) [NO WOMEN IN THE ZONE!] are funny. I still have to find some code that fixes the registration process to a one-gender option...Women in the Zone is lore valid. 1. In the earliest alpha build folks over on the GSC forums have been able to find, you could use a female as your character in game. 2. In the retail release, in the Local Lore section of the PDA, there is an entry you can find of a male researcher being in a short lived relationship with a female scientist in the Zone. Also, there was that mission for that guy in CS where you had to get an artifact for his date... Or, he could have been gay.

It wouldn't be entirely out of the question...

Funny you should mention that, of all people. Especially with your title and color.

Actually, it was heavily suggested that it was nothing but a hallucination, IIRC. Probably brought on by excess use of booze, exposure to radiation, the brain scorcher, controllers, loneliness etc.

Ahh, shame. Maybe Burnzz or Storm will remove the title some day though. Maybe.

When drinking vodka, you drink the whole bottle in one gulp. Well, this can be arranged. Why not? One needs to sleep in the game. BTW, there is a bunch of guys organizing STALKER live. I don't remember any details about this though. I think it was a group of die hard fans in Ukraine.

You mean those assholes who are actually roleplaying in Chernobyl? Oh is there such a bunch? I was going to say "is that legal" but who actually gives a fuck about that... What about radiation? Radiation levels are tiny (if any at all), but still all this crap left behind in pripyat and around the powerplant is irradiated they don't care or what?

Dude, it's like playing WW2 on a 1944 graveyard! It's simply disrespectful!

Meh, I don't really see the dis-respectfulness in it. I'd be more worried about radiation.
Radiation exposure doesn't do "tiny". In real life it's not just some short term effects and then it wears off: there's some bad long-term effects and it doesn't always just wear off after a while. It can permanently fuck you and your possible offspring up pretty bad.
